The Carrione Collection was inspired by and named after the river that runs through Carrara, Italy. It begins in the mountains where the marble is quarried and flows down through the historical district of Carrara, eventually making its way to the sea. Along its borders, there used to be countless marble workshops River one would find endless marble workshops. In the past, it has been said that it turned white from the quantity of marble dust it contained. Each item in this collection started as a boulder that was removed from the river by hand. The exterior has a natural worn surface, a surface aged by countless years in the Carrione River. In its original rough state, its hard to tell what the stone truly looks like within.
